Fedora Logo Modifications Proposal

Comments on the original.
1. Font...the font appears weak (thin) by the juxtaposition of the logo.
2. The logo appears large, unbalanced and heavy in its current location. Viewers usually expect a smaller object in the superscript position...by challanging that, the logo's lack of balance is further accentuated.
3. The symbol's concept is clever, but the lack of integration between the "f", the infinity symbol and the waterdrop...could use with some tweaking (suggestion).
In response to my email last week, concern was voiced that the above comments called for drastic changes...and that Matt's treatment didn't work for me at all...not so. To illustrate alternatives that could address those points (create a more balanced look) are the following examples...these were achieved with only slight variations on the proposed logo.

Reduced size of the Fedora symbol to fit the superscript position.

Repositioned logo.

Kept symbol size, but resized text...to give focus to the symbol.
The following are additional ideas that builds on the proposed Fedora logo...the changes to these are a bit more than resizing and relocation of elements.

...and finally...here's an idea that I had, unrelated the the currently proposed Fedora logo. The concept being "feather in the fedora" ... thus alluding to fedora but without any visuals of a hat. The feather can also take on various colors to correspond with "core," "legacy," etc.
